You'll need a
referral from your GP

We typically operate on a referral structure, which means that your GP will need to provide you with a written recommendation to our clinic.

You’ll need a referral from your GP if you plan to claim your expenses on Medicare. Most GP referrals are valid for 12 months from your first consultation.

If your referral is from another specialist, for example a fertility or IVF specialist, then it’s only valid for three months.

We also accept faxed referrals from your GP.

Understanding your
APPOINTMENT FEES

We’re a private practice, so you'll pay an out-of-pocket expense for any specific consultations and procedures you have with us. We accept cash, cheque, credit or debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX). A referral from your GP will help you claim a portion of this back on Medicare.

Your private health insurance also applies to in-hospital admissions, so be aware that you may have an excess or co-payment depending on your membership cover.

For pregnancy planning, your fees are structured as two instalments during your pregnancy. A direct deposit fee can be arranged in advance. Contact us for moreinformation.
